Group Etiquette
Group Therapy:
A safe place where you can share your stories and experiences.
A forum where you can ask difficult questions and discover your own answers with the support of others.
A place where you grow from altruistic benefit by helping another
Ground rules:
This group is a welcoming place.
Please respect each other’s privacy and maintain confidentiality.
Share only as much as is comfortable for you.
Listening to others is a good growth experience.
If you don’t want to talk, say so.
Your story and grief are unique and not open to comparison.
Try to avoid telling each other what to do.
When others are speaking, please listen.
Everyone has equal time.
Please respect each other’s spirituality and belief systems.
Thoughts and feelings are neither right nor wrong; they just are.
The group will aim to begin and end on time.
Doxy Space is a therapeutic space:
Please have your camera on
Please be in a private space where others can’t hear or see the meeting just as you would for an individual session.
Please do not take screenshots, photos or any recording during the meeting.
If you have to attend to something else, please leave and rejoin when able.
